Manufacture Alabama seeks a part-time Office Assistant to provide support to the needs
of the staff and office.

The Office Assistant
This role is part-time with weekly hours agreed upon by the employee and employer.
This position will report directly the Chief Operating Officer. This person will welcome
and screen visitors, ensure all supplies, refreshments, and food orders (when necessary)
are handled, as well as ensure that the office is maintained in a clean and professional
manner. This person will be expected to provide high quality customer service to MA
members and provide support to the various MA team members upon request.

The Office Assistant will be responsible for the following functions:

• Greeting visitors
• Answering the main phone line
• Checking mail and disbursing to appropriate personnel
• Arranging meal orders
• Arranging travel if requested
• Maintaining supplies inventory
• Assisting in event planning and execution
• Other duties as identified and assigned

Experience, Qualifications, Prerequisites and Requirements
A qualifying candidate for the position of Office Assistant should have a High School
Diploma or higher. Previous experience and necessary skills should include:

• Administrative or office management in a professional office environment
• Excellent business communications skills
• Meeting and event planning experience preferred

Some in-state travel, possibly overnight, will be required for a few select Manufacture Alabama hosted events.

Compensation
The position of Office Assistant is a part-time position. Compensation will be determined
according to candidate qualifications.
