MANUFACTURE ALABAMA ENDORSES GREG COOK FOR ALABAMA SUPREME COURT; ENDORSES JUSTICE KELLI WISE FOR REELECTION TO ALABAMA SUPREME COURT
MONTGOMERY—Manufacture Alabama announces Alabama Supreme Court endorsements for candidate Greg Cook and incumbent Associate Justice Kelli Wise.
“Justice Wise & Greg Cook both embody the kind of honorable leaders we all need on the Alabama Supreme Court. Their core principles and experience bring a great deal of value to the Court and their work will continue to make Alabama a great place to live and conduct business,” said George Clark, President of Manufacture Alabama. “Kelli and Greg are able leaders dedicated to the rule of law and will serve to follow that law rather than create it.”
- Justice Wise was first elected to the Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals in 2000 becoming the youngest woman ever elected to sit on an Alabama Appellate Court. She was re-elected in 2006 and was later elected to the Supreme Court of Alabama in 2010. Throughout her career, Justice Wise has served on the Alabama Law Institute Criminal Code Committee to help re-write the Alabama Criminal Code and the Advisory Committee on Criminal Procedure. Judge Wise serves on the board of directors for the Family Sunshine Center, Distinguished Young Woman of Alabama, Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts, Hands On River Region and Junior League of Montgomery.
- Greg Cook is an Air Force veteran, father and attorney. As an attorney, Cook has gained the respect of clients, other attorneys and judges taking on new roles demonstrating his commitment to the justice system in Alabama. He has served on the Jefferson County Republican Steering Committee, Executive Committee, and as Legal Counsel to the Jefferson County GOP. Greg has also served in the Alabama Republican Party for almost 15 years including the past 4 years as General Counsel for the Party.

The pandemic has certainly made it clear that it is time to repatriate manufacturing in America,” said Justice Wise. “My record shows that I am a fair and impartial justice and that I strive to treat the litigants who appear before our Court with respect. We need justices who follow the law and are committed to serving the people of Alabama, that continues to be my pledge."
“I’m very excited to have the endorsement of Manufacture Alabama. Manufacturing is vital to our state. As a judge, my job would be an umpire, to simply call the balls and strikes. I have no agenda other than protecting the rule of law – which means predictability for manufacturing and for every citizen of this state,” said Cook. “My conservative judicial philosophy means that I will not be an activist on the bench. Everyone will have a level playing field and that is why I think our campaign continues to grow and gain support.”
