The Tax committee develops policy positions for the association on legislative
and regulatory proposals that affect tax liability & compliance for Alabama
manufacturers. In addition, the tax committee reviews and analyzes tax legislation
and Department of Revenue (DOR) regulations. The committee gives priority
to identifying and responding to problems of tax compliance inequity and
competitive disadvantage occurring at the state or local level. |
