The Manufacture Alabama Federal Affairs committee tracks federal issues of importance
to Alabama manufacturers. The committee works with association's staff, and
maintains a close working relationship with all members of the Alabama Congressional
Delegation and the appropriate staffs. The committee recommends policy and
federal legislative positions to the Board of Directors as well as coordinates
any federal lobbying efforts on behalf of the membership. The committee updates
membership periodically on federal issues and recommends any needed action
efforts. The committee also hosts an annual Washington Fly-in as a membership
event. |
